During a school visit to Auschwitz, Baptiste, a 17 year old boy, is shocked by his « lack of feeling ». In an attempt to understand his own reaction, he contacts Denise Holstein, 92, the last living Holocaust survivor from his hometown, Rouen. An exceptional friendship will develop and change their life forever , as they work on the issue of memory and the inheritance of history.
